Founders of Hummingbird Community Makasha and Katharine Roske Confirmed for Workshop and Panel Discussion at UNIFY FEST!

Since their destined meeting over 40 years ago Katharine and Makasha Roske have been committed to whole systems transformation and the birth of a new world. Living on the evolutionary edge, they have devoted their lives to the raising of 8 children, dreaming in and facilitating numerous international events and link-ups for peace; modeling progressive business concepts in a variety of entrepreneurial ventures; pioneering conscious birthing and innovative educational models; establishing networking convergence centers and cultivating co-creative community in both urban and rural settings.

In 1996 a long held dream became a reality. Together with 4 others as a core group within Global Family, they co-founded Hummingbird Community in northern New Mexico, USA. Members of the eco-village are committed to living in harmony with nature and each other, as they practice the principles of co-creation in service to our collective awakening. Hummingbird now has 25 members and is thriving as it celebrates it’s 20th anniversary.

Katharine and Makasha, together with their daughter, Tamara, also co-founded Earth Guardians in Hawaii in 1994. The organization now has over 2000 centers throughout the world. Lead by their grandson, Xuihtezcatl, the movement is empowering young people to speak out and take action on behalf of the earth and future generations (

Katharine is co-author with Carolyn Anderson of The Co-Creator’s Handbook; an Experiential Guide for Discovering Your Life’s Purpose and Building a Co-Creative Society. The Roske travel the world supporting emerging communities that are shifting from a dominator to a partnership model. They are available for consulting, speaking engagements, and workshops through their newly formed business: Living Co-creation
